Policies and Prices

Ann Arbor Community Acupuncture offers $25-50 sliding scale acupuncture treatments. (There is a $5 discount if paying by cash or check at time of service.)

*Note: There is a one-time $10 intake charge at your first visit.

Sliding scale means you pay what you are comfortable with to get the care you need. We do not require income verification.

Payment is due at the time of service. We accept cash, check, Visa, MasterCard, Discover, and American Express. The cost of herbs, supplements, or other merchandise is not included in the cost of the visit. We do not accept insurance, however, the cost of our treatments is about the same as a normal insurance co-pay. We are happy to provide a receipt to assist you in obtaining reimbursement from your insurance company. Most companies do not reimburse for acupuncture, but because each individual health plan is different, we suggest you contact your insurance agent to find out what your policy covers.

Cancellation Policy

Please give our office at least 24 hours notice if you are not able to make your appointment. If you were unable to cancel your appointment within 24 hours, our cancellation fee is $20 paid by honor system.

Our office follows the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) guidelines.
